The samples span from Spanish, history, theater, and english classes. These samples are meant to exhibit my capability as a student and my growth as a student. Linguistic Proficiency
This sample shows my spanish skills and my ability to analyze Spanish literature to create a dyamic paper.
This sample shows my spanish proficiency and my ability to compare and contrast multiple themes within the history of someone being Afro-Latino, being a women, and trying to succeed in literature.
Cultural Competency
This sample shows my understanding of Hispanic Cultural impacts on the film industry and how events during the time period impacted the message of the movie and the movement of increasing the population of female directors and screenwriters.
This sample shows my cultural competency of Latin America and the historical events that occured during the colonization of America.
Literature and Humanities Competency
This sample is a project that included picking out quotes from all the books we read during the course and explaining the importance of it and why we found this quote to be impactful.
This sample shows my humanities and literature competency in a theater aspect and being able to relate theater to social issues in society.
This sample shows understanding of articles published in Spanish Speaking countries about numerous different topics and being able to summarize it and analyze it's contexts.
This sample shows my Spanish writing and reading skills and how I can read older Spanish poems and analyze their meanings to form a dynamic paper.
